Mr. Phillips represented my wife in a worker comp case where her neck was injured. We initially tried to fight the workers comp insurance group on our own and was given inconsistent answers and incorrect diagnosis of her injury. The doctors became apathetic and eventually released her stating a muscular injury. At that point we consulted with Joe and followed his directions. We later learned she had 2 injured cervical disks and required surgery. Joe walked us through the process and explained the challenges we had to face. My assessment of Attorney Patrick Joseph Phillips, Chief Legal Counsel for the Law Offices of Joe Phillips, is based on years of experience doing business with lawyers and law firms in my position as Managing Partner of CHARTOR Entertainment LLC (www.CHARTORentertainment.com ). My co-Managing Partner, Charles Floyd Johnson, is an attorney as well. 2017 I retained Attorney Joe Phillips to represent my Uncle in a civil case against a major retail chain where he fell and broke his hip. In addition, the ambulance service that transported my Uncle to the hospital and the physician in the emergency room who treated my Uncle committed gross negligence in their lack of treatment to address the severity of my Uncle’s hip fractures. After two major surgeries to repair his hip, an eight week recovery period in the hospital and fifteen weeks of physical and occupational therapy, my Uncle and I decided to retain Attorney Joe Phillips to file a medical malpractice civil suit against the ambulance service, the hospital and the emergency room doctor. I served as Durable Power of Attorney and Executor of my Uncle and Aunt’s estate. At the time my Uncle was 89 years of age and he relied on me to manage their estate. Joe Phillips was professional, tenacious, thorough, meticulous and represented the highest standards of legal expertise in civil litigation. He treated my Aunt and Uncle with the utmost respect, kindness and consideration.
